New cardiac facility opens

University Cardiovascular Medical Group, a cardiology practice, has opened a new satellite facility within the California Health and Longevity Institute in Westlake Village.

The new office gives residents of the Conejo Valley many of the same services the group offers at its flagship office on the UCLA campus in Westwood. The Westlake Village location is open to all patients seeking to improve their cardiovascular health.

Services include consultation with cardiologists, advanced diagnostic testing and access to clinical studies administered by UCMG and its nonprofit medical research and education partner, the California Heart Center Foundation.

"UCMG's new office in Westlake Village advances our vision to provide premier heart health destinations for patients, not only for acute care but for proactive and preventive heart health support," said Dr. Jaime Moriguchi, a UCMG cardiologist who staffs the new facility.

UCMG at the California Health and Longevity Institute is open 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, with expanded office hours expected in the future

The institute, together with the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, provides guests with access to physicians, dieticians, fitness consultants and other wellbeing experts and offers healthy living programs that are customized to individual needs.
