Marmonte golfers back in the swing of things

IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers LIFTOFF- Newbury Park's Katelyn Barrett hits a chip shot during last week's first Marmonte League Tournament at Simi Hills Golf Course. Westlake won the eight-team event with a total team score of 211. Agoura (218) finished second, followed by Royal (219), Newbury Park (224), Simi Valley (224), Moorpark (256), Thousand Oaks (279) and Calabasas (298). Today at noon at Los Robles Greens Golf Course in Thousand Oaks, the teams will compete in the second of four league tournaments.
