Depression seminars to be held

In the second of a series of eight seminars for parents who want to better understand child and adolescent disorders, Dr. Stazan K. Sina will lead a presentation on teen depression.

The Conejo Council ParentTeacher Association, in conjunction with the Thousand Oaks High School PTA, has organized eight seminars with Sina looking at substance abuse, eating disorders and other topics.

Each monthly seminar runs about 90 minutes and will cover diagnosis, parent support and related treatment considerations. There will also be a questionandanswer session.

The teen depression seminar is Tues., Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks High School Library. Admission is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to conejoforum@hotmail.com or call the high school at (805) 4957491 ext. 1026.
