Cruise line reps offer information about ships

Representatives from Crystal Cruises and Altour Classic Cruise & Travel of Woodland Hills will speak to potential clients at a reception on Thurs., Oct. 25 at the Westlake Hyatt Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

The event will include information on Crystal's recent $23 million refurbishment of the ship Crystal Symphony, and the 2008 travel itineraries.

Representing Crystal Cruises will be Eric Grave, vice president of sales, and Susie Hogan, district sales manager for the San Fernando and Central valleys.

Altour Classic Cruise & Travel officials attending will include CEO Penny Entin, President Susan Reder and several cruise specialists.

"There definitely has been a jump in the upscale cruise market. The weak U.S. dollar in Europe, South Pacific and other exotic locations has also made an impact on the cruise market," said Reder.
