Local grad starts his LDS mission

Rudolph Dean Lang Jr. has been called to a two-year mission in Porto, Portugal for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He will train for two months in the church's Missionary Training Center in Provo Utah and learn the Portuguese language before serving his mission.

Lang is a 2006 graduate of Westlake High School.
