Runners wanted for Chamber of Commerce's 29th annual Pumpkin Run

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce is taking registrations for the 29th annual Great Pumpkin Runs and Health Fair scheduled for Sun., Oct. 28 at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.

The run is part of the city of Westlake Village's City Celebration and includes 5K, 10K and 1-mile Mayor's Healthy Run/Walk. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Starting times are 8 a.m. for the 5K Devil's Dash, 8:50 a.m. for the 10 K Goblin's Gallop, and 9 a.m. for the 1-Mile Mayor's Healthy Challenge TrickorTreat Trot.

A Mini Health Fair, from 7 a.m. to noon, will feature health- and fitness-oriented merchants.

Running clubs receive 20 percent off registration fees. Preregister by Mon., Oct. 22 at towlvchamber.org to print and mail in registration, or online at www.active.com, search for Westlake Pumpkin Runs.

Registration fees are $5 extra on the day of the event.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K runs.

All finishers of the 1-Mile walk/run will receive medals. Prizes will be given for the best costumes.

Refreshments and goodies will be provided for all runners.
