Cancer survivor will present onewoman show

Actress and cancer survivor Tara Branham will perform her one-woman show, "Other Than That, I'm Fine!" about her roller coaster ride while living with cancer, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20 at The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Branham was diagnosed with leukemia in 1998, weeks after completing her first year at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. The show is directed by Beverly Sanders, theater instructor at USC and UCLA.

Todd Ruiz will perform flamenco guitar at the event. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Cancer patients, their family and friends are welcome to attend.
