Magnificat: a Ministry to Catholic Women will present a prayer brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 1 at Porter Valley Country Club, Porter Valley Drive, Northridge.

Guest John Bonaduce will use music to express his perspective of God's forgiveness. The cost is $17.
