Church festival just for fun

St. Paschal Baylon Church will host its annual Parish Festival Fri. through Sun., Oct. 19, 20 and 21 at Moorpark and Janss roads in Thousand Oaks.

Hours of operation are Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.

The festival will feature carnival rides and games, a coffee bar and a sweet shop, entertainment and a silent auction.

Food will be available, including traditional foods from Mexico, Italy, the Philippines and the United States.

Raffle tickets are available for $100 each. Raffle prizes are a 2008 BMW or Harley-Davidson or $25,000 cash, as well as smaller cash awards. Call (805) 496-0222.
