T.O. AAUW hosts forum on finances

The Thousand Oaks Branch of the American Association of University Women will host a financial forum, "Financially Fit for Life: Learn how to Make it Happen," from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20 at the Thousand Oaks Inn, 75 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Chellie Campbell, financial speaker and author of "The Wealthy Spirit: Daily Affirmations for Financial Stress Reduction" and "Zero to Zillionaire," will offer tips for producing income, managing money and eliminating debt.

Cost is $25 per person.

Participants have the choice of two out of four workshops: preparing for a long life: retirement planning and income for life; estate planning and charitable giving for women; investing 101: basics of investing; and the financial roadmap: start plotting it today.
