Newbury Park

At 6:05 p.m. Sept. 22, a male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at Ventu Park and Newbury roads.

The following persons were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: A male, 49, at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 19 at W. Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Conejo Road; and a male, 30, at 1:32 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 200 block of Walter Avenue.

Between Sept. 7 and 21 on Redfield Avenue and Michael Drive, a vehicle door lock was damaged and items were stolen.

At Kimber and Wendy, a male, 22, was allegedly drunk in public and too intoxicated to take care of himself. At 1:39 a.m. Sept. 3, he was arrested.

On suspicion of possessing prescription medicine without a prescription, a male, 20, was at 9:20 a.m. Sept. 24 arrested in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

An electrical utility box at W. Kelley and Newbury roads was defaced with graffiti at 4:07 a.m. Sept. 14.

Something was stolen from a business office in the 2100 block of Corporate Center Drive between Sept. 14 and 17.

Someone placed a homemade destructive device on city of Thousand Oaks property on Potrero Road, west of Briar Avenue, with the intent to cause a large explosion between 2:43 and 3 p.m. Sept. 21.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence: A male, 31, at 10:14 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 300 block of Flittner Street; and a male, 18, at 4:51 p.m. Sept. 22 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

The following subjects at the times, dates and places indicated were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: A male, 32, at 10:27 a.m. Sept. 19 at Erbes Road and Avenida de Las Flores; a female, 19, at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 1800 block of Fordham Avenue; a male, 23, at 1:29 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road; a female, 50, at 1:50 p.m. Sept. 25 in the lobby of East Valley Station; a male, 25, at 2:11 p.m. Sept. 26 at Avenida de Los Arboles at Calle Abdul; and a male, 20, at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 1800 block of Fordham Avenue.

In the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive something was stolen between noon and 12:50 p.m. Sept. 20.

Vehicles were burglarized: between 3:10 and 3:40 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road; the night of Sept. 21 in the 600 and 700 blocks of Paige Lane (two vehicles), in the 1300 block of Park Granada and in the 1000 block of El Segundo Drive; and Sept. 22 or 23 in the 1300 block of La Peresa Drive (an unlocked vehicle).

Rangers with Conejo Recreation and Park District observed someone driving recklessly in the area of Conejo Creek Park North. The driver failed to pull over after the rangers used a siren and activated the emergency lights in an attempt to stop him. Later, at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23, the police department cited a male, 23, in the incident.

A female, 19, was cited for possession of a false California driver's license at 11:51 p.m. Sept. 23 at a financial institution in the vicinity of T.O. Boulevard and Moorpark Road.

At Moorpark and Janss roads at 5:33 p.m. Sept. 24, a male, 53, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Vandal(s) attacked Sunset Hills Golf Course by throwing rocks and boulders onto two greens. Flags and rakes were also stolen between Sept. 14 and 17.

In the 2100 block of Lynn Road during daytime on Sept. 20, a catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup.

Felony vandalism occurred at 3 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 200 block of Hampshire Road.

Something was stolen from a building between Sept. 19 and 22 in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

In the 1700 block of Blue Hill Court between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 23 a bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

The city of Thousand Oaks and Ventura County were the victims after vandalism on Sept. 22 or 23 at the northwest corner of Calle Yucca and Calle Laredo.

Vandal(s) hit Redwood Middle School on Sept. 22 or 23.

Cited and released for drinking an alcoholic beverage in public were a male, 39, at 12:38 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 700 block of Hampshire Road (who was also cited for giving false information to a police officer); and a male, 41, at 10:20 a.m. Sept. 21 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

T.O./Westlake

At 1:10 a.m. Sept. 20 on the southbound 101 Freeway at Lindero Canyon Road, a male, 21, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Regarding an incident in the 3600 block of Auto Mall Drive, a male, 18, was at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 24 arrested on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, east of Hampshire Road on suspicion of grand theft.

While he was being arrested on a charge of public intoxication at 9:22 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 1100 block of Triunfo Canyon Road, a male, 38, allegedly kicked a peace officer.

A bad check was written by a known suspect in the 3800 block of Auto Mall Drive between May 24 and June 12. The amount made it a felony; the incident wasn't reported until Sept. 21.

A vehicle's front doors, front fenders and hood were keyed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 3400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The damages were estimated at $2,321.

Auto parts were stolen on Sept. 20 or 21 in the 1100 block of Landsburn Circle.
