Measure A is bad for the city
      Measure A should either be killed altogether or changed rather than extended as it is because Measure A exempts "low and moderate-income families" from any restrictions in the number of houses or rental units that can be built.

Residents want open space, not party pavilion
      In 2005, citizens expressed opposition to Conejo Recreation and Park District's conceptual plan for Rancho Potrero at a City Council meeting that lasted until 2 a.m. The plan puts a 200-person party pavilion on some of the most beautiful open space at the edge of our city.
