Blotter Newbury Park At 12:47 a.m. Sept. 16 on the 101 Freeway near Borchard Road, a female, 38, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. The following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: A female, 50, at 9:16 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios; a male, 45, at 9:24 a.m. Sept. 20, also on Camino Dos Rios; two males, 21 and 26, at 2:07 p.m. Sept. 20 in the first block of S. Jerome Street; a male, 25, at 1:11 p.m. Sept. 11 at Avenida Del Platino near W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 43, at 4:50 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 100 block of N. Jerome Avenue; and a male, 22, at 9:31 p.m. Sept. 17 at Carob Street and Ginger Circle (who was also cited for possession of stolen property). Vehicles were burglarized on the following dates: The night of Sept. 17 in the first block of Lucas Court (door lock punched out); the night of Sept. 16 in the 2200 block of Adrian Street; two vehicles had broken door locks but nothing was stolen between 4:05 and 4:15 a.m. Sept. 17 in the 100 block of Northam Avenue; Sept. 16 or 17 in the 100 block of Redfield Avenue and in the 1300 block of Ramona Drive; the night of Sept. 16 in the 2700 block of Northam, the 2700 block of Michael Drive and in the 600 block of Courtney Court; and between Sept. 13 and 17 in the first block of Northam Avenue (door lock punched out). While the victim was sleeping the night of Sept. 19 in the 700 block of Ruth Drive, someone entered the home and stole property. Regarding an incident in the vicinity of Avenida de Las Plata and Calle Turquesa, a male, 22, was at 12:45 p.m. Sept. 18 arrested at East Valley Station and charged with unlawful sexual intercourse. The alleged incident occurred the night of Aug. 21. A female, 18, was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property at 9:31 Sept. 17 at Carob and Ginger Circle. The deputy reported that she also looked like she was under the influence of a stimulant. Someone fired projectiles at vehicles the evening of Sept. 19 at an unspecified location in Newbury Park. Windows were damaged. Valuables were stolen from the open bed of a pickup on Sept. 14 or 15 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A female recently kicked the rear passenger window of a deputy's squad car on the northbound 101 Freeway near Wendy Drive. The damage exceeded $700. A vehicle was vandalized between 7 and 7:45 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Property was stolen from a business in a break-in on Sept. 16 or 17 in the 2500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Fuel was siphoned from a vehicle in the 2500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive on Sept. 16 or 17. After a bar server cut him off from drinking due to his level of intoxication, a male, 27, allegedly caused a disturbance and was arrested the late afternoon of Sept. 16 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive. At Wendy Drive and the 101 Freeway at 6:10 p.m. Sept. 17, a male, 27, was arrested and charged with public drunkenness. A female, 41, allegedly twice drove her vehicle into another person's vehicle, had alcohol on her breath and was allegedly in possession of several kinds of prescription medicines and a substance believed to be Ecstasy at 12:35 p.m. Sept. 18 at Kelly and Newbury roads. Thousand Oaks The following subjects were at the times, dates and places shown arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/ or drugs: A male, 44, at 7:17 p.m. Sept. 14 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Big Sky Drive; a male, 40, at 8:10 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a female, 52, at 9:23 p.m. Sept. 12 at T.O. Boulevard and Lombard Street; a male, 43, at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 13 at Houston Drive and T.O. Boulevard; a male, 50, at 9:59 p.m. Sept. 13 at Calle Quebracho, north of Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 24, at 12:12 a.m. Sept. 14 at Rancho Conejo Boulevard and the 101 Freeway; a male, 35, at 1:03 a.m. one September morning on Olsen Road, east of East Valley Station; a male, 30, at 11:09 p.m. Sept. 14 on Avenida de La Plata near Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 50, at 6:33 p.m. Sept. 15 at Gainsborough Road and Camino Manzanas. On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 22, at 1:55 p.m. Sept. 19 at an undisclosed location in Thousand Oaks; a male, 19, at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 19 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road; a female, 43, at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 19 at W. Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Conejo Boulevard; a male, 21, at 12:52 p.m. Sept. 14 at Warwick Avenue and Mayflower Street; a female, 19, at 10:05 p.m. Sept. 14 at Hillcrest Drive and McCloud Avenue; and a female, 44, at 8 p.m. Sept. 15 at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive. Vehicle burglaries were reported in the following: between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (unlocked vehicle, loss of more than $400); night of Sept. 10 in the 1900 block of Burleson Avenue (window smashed); between 8 p.m. Sept. 10 and 2:21 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 1600 block of Camberwall Place (unlocked); Sept. 6 or 7 in the 2700 block of W. Appalachian Court (unlocked); and the night of Sept. 16 in the 1400 block of Kirk Avenue (door lock punched out, loss of more than $200 in property). Taillights were stolen from a truck between 2 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in The Oaks parking lot. Something was stolen in the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Sept. 16 or 17. Someone trespassed a dwelling and caused damages between midnight and 8 a.m. Sept. 18 in the 600 block of Erbes Road. A toolbox was pried open and tools were stolen in the 2300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Sept. 15 and 18. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road between 7 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Sept. 18. In the 200 block of Marjori Avenue, a mailbox was stolen on Sept. 17 or 18. Estella Park was targeted with graffiti on Sept. 18 or 19. A laptop computer was stolen from a dorm at CLU between 1:30 and 1:35 p.m. Sept. 14. Three suspects stole merchandise from Border's in the late afternoon of Sept. 20. On an allegation that they both committed battery, a male, 43, and a female, 53, were arrested at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 15 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. For possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited and released at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 20 on Rolling Oaks at Moorpark Road. Suspects yelled gang slogans as they destroyed the property of a male, 22, at 11 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. The incident report was only recently made available to the press. Something was stolen from a garage in the 600 block of Calle Clavel on April 23 or 24. The incident was recently reported. On a charge of petty theft on July 9 in the 1500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard, a male, 33, was arrested on Sept. 19 at East Valley Station. In connection with an altercation on school grounds in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road, a female, 18, was recently arrested. A male, 36, was cited for panhandling at Janss Marketplace at 2 p.m. Sept. 12. A building in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was targeted with graffiti between Sept. 6 and 13. Jewelry was stolen in the 800 block of Woodlawn Drive between Sept. 6 and 13. Property was stolen from a dormitory during daytime on Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Memorial Way. The loss was about $1,000 after property was stolen from a room in the first block of Olsen Road during daytime on Sept. 13. Four mailboxes were vandalized the night of Sept. 12 on Stonehill Circle. A store was targeted with graffiti the night of Sept. 13 in the 1100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. An electronic card reader was stolen from a bank in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road between 11:22 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Someone known to the victim caused vandalism damages of $5,000 or more in the 2200 block of Green Oak Court between midnight and 7 a.m. Sept. 12. A digital camera was stolen in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road between 9 and 9:59 p.m. Sept. 13. Property valued at more than $400 was stolen on Sept. 8 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A vandalism incident occurred between 3:50 and 4 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 1800 block of Fox Springs Circle. At 1:10 a.m. Sept. 17 on the northbound 101 Freeway near Lynn Road, a suspect in custody vandalized a police car by kicking out a rear window. Pictures were spray painted on walls in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Sept. 14 and 17. A shoplifter was caught the evening of Sept. 17 at Macy's. In the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard something was stolen between 4 p.m. Sept. 16 and 7 a.m. Sept. 17. The men's room and game room of Chuck E. Cheese were vandalized between Sept. 10 and 17. Somebody entered an office building in the 500 block of Marin Street, broke into mailboxes and stole mail between Sept. 14 and 17. Something was stolen from a business in the first block of Long Court between Sept. 14 and 17. A theft occurred during daytime on Sept. 15 at a room in the 100 block of Memorial Parkway. A male, 44, was cited and released for possession of a switchblade knife at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A female was at 1:10 a.m. Sept. 17 arrested and charged with public drunkenness at Avenida de Los Arboles and the 23 Freeway. After her arrest, she allegedly vandalized the property of another person, according to the incident report. A female, 44, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. Sept. 21 and charged with shoplifting at Macy's. At 10:30 p.m. Sept. 17 on Rancho Conejo and Blake Ridge Court, a male, 18, was allegedly in possession of a deadly weapon and less than one ounce of marijuana. For drinking an alcoholic beverage in public, the following were cited and released at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 38, at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 15 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 32, at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 15 in the 1300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 41, at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 15 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 51, at 1:48 p.m. Sept. 20 in the first block of S. Rancho Road; and two males, 24 and 22, at 2 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. T.O./Westlake At 4:42 p.m. Sept. 15 in the 4100 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a male, 51, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. A male, 54, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Vehicle parts were stolen in the 3100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard the night of Sept. 18. The loss exceeded $400. Several mailboxes were vandalized in the 4100 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Sept. 14 and 17. |
