Speaker at Holy Trinity to discuss 'Passing on the Faith'

Nationally recognized speaker and author Dr. Dick Hardel will speak in the sanctuary at 1 p.m. Sun., Sept. 30 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 W. Avenida de Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks.

Hardel is the executive director of the Youth and Family Institute in Bloomington, Minn., and co-author of "Passing on the Faith."

He'll speak on the partnership of home and congregation and help parishioners acquire practical skills to "pass on the faith."

A luncheon at noon in the Fellowship Hall and Fireside Room will preceed the talk.

A questionandanswer discussion from 3:30 to 4 p.m. will follow the seminar.

The suggested donation is $5 with prior registration or $10 at the door.
