St. Patrick's Episcopal Church to screen 'The Good Shepherd'

The Challengers adult study group of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church will screen a free movie, "The Good Shepherd," which depicts the untold story of the CIA, the most powerful covert agency in the world, on Sat., Sept. 29 in the Buena Vista Room in Hager Parish Hall (behind the sanctuary) at One Church Road, Thousand Oaks.

Discussion starts at 7:15 p.m., and the film starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. with more discussion afterwards.

The community is welcome, and free popcorn will be available.

The movie was released in 2006, directed by Robert De Niro and starring Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin, Tammy Blanchard, Billy Crudup, William Hurt, Timothy Hutton, Keir Dullea and De Niro. Rated R for some violence, sexuality and language.
