Auditions planned for Battle of the Bands

Auditions for the Thousand Oaks Teen Center's Battle of the Bands will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 3 at the center, 1375 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Bands must be based in the Conejo Valley.

An application can be downloaded from www. thousandoaksteencenter.com.

Judging will be based on music, stage presence, rhythm and timing, vocals and overall impression. Top prize is valued at more than $500. Event judges are all industry professionals.

The competition will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Sat., Dec. 1.
