Fundraiser at Pepperdine to assist track coach Wes Smith

On Saturday, La Reina High senior Sasha Blanchard and her student-run organization, Let's Make a Difference Now, will help host a fundraising event at Pepperdine University's Invitational Cross Country Meet.

All profits from the sale of hand-dyed tanks and T-shirts will go to Oaks Christian track and cross country coach Wes Smith.

Smith's 18-month-old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
