Newbury Park

At 4:44 p.m. Sept. 10 at Avenida Del Platino and Hillcrest, a male, 35, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

The following were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 26, at 1:11 p.m. Sept. 11 at Avenida Del Platino and Hillcrest Drive; a male, 21, at 5:40 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (who may have also been involved in the sale of drugs); a female, 21, at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios; and a female, 19, at 8:41 a.m. Sept. 6 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios.

Three vehicle burglaries were reported in Newbury Park. One was the night of Sept. 6 in the 800 block of Capitan Street, in which the loss exceeded $400. Another was the night of Sept. 10 in the 200 block of Redfield Avenue (a loss of $2,000). The third was an unlocked vehicle the afternoon of Sept. 6 in the 2700 block of Teller Avenue, in which a camera was stolen.

More than one suspect was involved in a petty theft at Albertson's in the 500 block of S. Reino Road at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

A tire was punctured by a vandal in the 2700 block of Teller Road the afternoon of Sept. 4.

A vandal put a foreign substance in a fuel tank between Aug. 24 and Sept. 6 in the first block of Edgar Court.

The loss was about $6,900 after items were stolen from a construction site between Sept. 7 and 10 in the 1000 block of Old Conejo Road.

The loss exceeded $8,800 after a home in the 500 block of Paseo Grande was broken into and burglarized between 7:50 a.m. and 4:55 p.m. Sept. 10.

A piece of jewelry was stolen in the 3500 block of Erinlea Avenue on Sept. 2 or 3.

Two 18-packs of Budweiser were stolen by a male from a convenience store cooler at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive.

Camera equipment was stolen from a home's garage (no signs of forced entry) between Aug. 13 and 27 in the 1400 block of Featherhill Circle.

Something was stolen from Target the afternoon of Sept. 5.

In the 4800 block of Borchard Road on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1, someone wrote graffiti with black spray paint.

Someone tried to steal copper wire from an electrical panel in a utility room the afternoon of Sept. 5 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 43, was arrested and charged with possession of a glass smoking pipe at 2:46 a.m. Sept. 7 at Wendy and Michael drives.

A male, 44, was arrested in Oxnard this month on suspicion of involvement in thefts from a construction site and storage bin on July 21 in Newbury Park.

A male, 49, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft in the first block of Amgen Center Drive at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 10.

A male, 19, was arrested and charged with hit-and-run at the Borchard park-and-ride lot at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 5 regarding an accident at 11:14 p.m. Sept. 4.

A male, 21, was cited and released for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for a routine traffic violation at 7:50 p.m. Sept. 7 at Lynn Road and Kelly Drive.

Cited and released for possession of marijuana was a male, 35, at 9:18 a.m. Sept. 9 at Hillcrest and Kalinda drives.

Thousand Oaks

A female, 19, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 6 at Calle Jazmin and Avenida de Las Flores.

The following were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 25, at 12:54 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 2000 block of Glastonbury Road; a male, 22, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 5 in the first block of Sidlee Street; two females, 26 and 33, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive; a female, 43, at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 2800 block of Los Robles Road; a male, 40, and three females, 29, 32 and 37, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 100 block of Skyline Drive (the male possibly in possession of a substance believed to be methamphetamine); a male, 19, at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 10 at East Valley Station; and a male, 45, at 10:20 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 900 block of Avenida de Las Flores.

Vehicles burglaries were reported as follows: 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive the night of Sept. 6 ($300 loss); between 1:30 and 3 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 1300 block of E. Janss Road; the night of Sept. 10 in the 1800 block of Burleson Avenue; an unlocked vehicle on Sept. 10 or 11 in the 600 block of McCloud Avenue; between 12:30 and 7 a.m. Sept. 12, an unlocked vehicle in the 2600 block of Castillo Circle; between 10 p.m. Sept. 11 and 4:40 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 3300 block of Los Robles Road (window smashed); and from the bed of a pickup in the 300 block of Erbes Road the night of Sept. 4.

A male, 43, was cited and released at 10:05 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 1400 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard for his possible involvement in a theft that occurred in the first block of Moorpark Road.

On a charge of petty theft, a female, 19, was arrested in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 4:08 p.m. Sept. 6.

Merchandise was stolen from a store in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between 3 and 3:57 p.m. Aug. 26.

Golf clubs valued at more than $4,000 were stolen from an open garage in the 2400 block of Chaucer Place on June 23. The incident was only recently reported.

A laptop computer was stolen from a home in the 3100 block of Casino Place between 7 p.m. Sept. 4 and 1 a.m. Sept. 5.

On Sept. 5 or 6, somebody spray painted graffiti near the 101 Freeway overpass at Hampshire Road.

Auto parts were stolen the night of Sept. 7 in the 800 block of Brush Hill Road.

Vandal(s) caused $200 damage in the 1600 block of Orinda Court on Sept. 7 or 8.

A muffler was stolen from a vehicle in The Oaks mall during daytime on Sept. 8. Between 2:30 and 11 p.m. the same day, a catalytic converter was stolen from another vehicle in The Oaks parking lot.

Between Sept. 7 and 9, something was stolen from a business in the 100 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A storage shed was broken into the late evening of Sept. 9 in the 500 block of Marin Street.

A business in the 1100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was vandalized between Sept. 7 and 10.

An apartment complex parking structure in the 200 block of Erbes Road was targeted with graffiti. Vandal(s) also littered the area with debris, including cigarettes, paper and clothing.

In the 300 block of Houston Drive, a home was broken into and burglarized between 7 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Sept. 10.

The night of Sept. 10 in the 300 block of Erbes Road, a business was broken into and burglarized.

On Sept. 11 or 12 in the 700 block of Old Farm Road, property was vandalized.

A business in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was broken into and burglarized between 4 and 4:20 p.m. Sept. 4.

Vandalism occurred between Sept. 1 and 4 in the 1500 block of Covington Avenue.

A windshield and driver's window of a vehicle were damaged after vandalism at 1:29 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 800 block of Sheffield Avenue.

Conejo Recreation and Park District was the victim of a graffiti incident the night of Sept. 4 in the 2500 block of N. Moorpark Road. The damage was estimated at $3,000.

A cashier at a store in the first block of N. Moorpark Road was caught ringing up merchandise for two of his friends and then deleting the transactions at 9:08 p.m. Sept. 1. All three were caught.

Someone vandalized a vehicle in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue between 2:35 and 2:40 a.m. Sept. 4 by smashing the windshield and denting the hood with a pick ax.

Somebody was caught stealing a bottle of tequila at a drugstore in the first block of N. Moorpark Road at 4 p.m. Aug. 30.

Two females, 29 and 33, allegedly struck, scratched and pulled each other's hair the evening of Sept. 5 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

Vehicle windows were damaged after vandalism on Sept. 4 or 5 in the 600 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 36, had seven ounces of a substance believed to be marijuana when he was confronted by a police officer at 6:12 p.m. Sept. 6 at Clay Court and T.O. Boulevard. The suspect also allegedly lied about his identity and had two felony warrants for his arrest.

Two males, 18 and 19, were arrested on Sept. 8 regarding a burglary on Aug. 14 at Toys "R" Us. The arrest of the 19-year-old occurred on the third level of a parking structure in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road. The arrest of the 18-year-old occurred at East Valley Station.

A male, 48, was arrested at East Valley Station on Sept. 11 on suspicion of vandalizing a vehicle Aug. 31 on Cord Avenue, south of T.O. Boulevard.

T.O./Westlake

A male, 40, was, at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 8, arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on the northbound 101 Freeway onramp at Westlake Boulevard.

Between 8 a.m. and noon Sept. 5, the loss was $2,100 after a vehicle window was shattered, doors had pry marks and items were stolen in the 100 block of N. Lakeview Canyon Road.

A petty theft was reported at the Ralph's supermarket in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. It occurred between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and 12:20 a.m. Sept. 6.

The loss was more than $400 after somebody tapped into and stole water from a homeowners association in the 5500 block of Grey Feather Court between July 31 and Aug. 22.

Someone kicked a car and caused more than $400 damage the early afternoon of Sept. 7 near Cord Avenue and T.O. Boulevard.

Something was stolen between 1 and 4:30 a.m. from a hotel room in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

The door to a restaurant in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard was vandalized between 2:50 and 2:52 a.m. Sept. 6.

Tools were stolen from an auto dealer in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard the night of Sept. 8.

The damage was more than $400 after a vehicle in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road was vandalized between 5:30 and 6:43 p.m. Sept. 9.

Merchandise was stolen from a vehicle dealer in the 3600 block of Auto Mall Drive between 9:20 and 9:36 a.m. Sept. 12.
