Mount Boney 4-H Club gets new name, officers

The Mount Boney 4-H Club introduced its new name, the Conejo Valley 4H Club, and installed new officers at the September general membership meeting.

The officers are Brenda Bass, president and newsletter editor; Katherine Trockey, vice president of programs and treasurer; Kathy Bass, secretary and sergeant of arms-parliamentarian; Emmaline Trockey, co-vice president ways and means; Madison Dederick, co-vice president ways and means; and Marirose Meyer, historian and sergeant of arms;

Gwen Williams, librarian; Taylor Dederick, community service chair; Kyla Vinson, communication chair; Bella Williams, agricultural reporter; Amelia Meyer, 4-H county reporters Casey Yarnell and Leah Yarnell, sergeants of arms.

The Conejo Valley 4-H Club meets the second Monday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cameron Center, 288 Greenmeadow Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The 4-H club is an educational program for youths ages 5 to 19. Membership is still open for the new club year.

The next meeting will be Mon., Oct. 8.
