Garden Club installs new year's officers

The Conejo Valley Garden Club installed its 200708 officers at a luncheon meeting that also honored Lisa Cosand for her leadership as president for the past year.

The new officers are Robert Gorman, president; Dorothy Engel, vice president of programs; Maggie Crane, vice president of membership; Evelyn Mahannah, secretary; and Nancy Gorman, treasurer.

Three club members attended the California Garden Clubs Inc. state convention in Bakersfield: Robert and Nancy Gorman, and Beverly Switzer. Switzer is the club's junior gardener chair.

The club meets the fourth Wednesday of each month from September through May.
