Basketball game will assist the family of Sev'n Molina

The Kelly Park Neighborhood Watch will present a benefit basketball game at 7 p.m. Tues., Sept. 18 in the gym at Newbury Park High School, 456 Reino Road, Newbury Park to benefit Sandra Ruiz, mother of Sev'n Molina, a 6-year-old boy who was killed on Aug. 12 in Newbury Park.

Ventura County deputies will play versus county firefighters. Heisman trophy winner Charles White will play half of the game on the deputies' side and the other half on the firefighters' side.

Tickets are $10 each at the door.
