Chabad High Holidays services hosted at Hyatt

Chabad of the Conejo will host High Holiday services in the ballroom at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Rosh Hashana will be celebrated from Wednesday evening, Sept. 12, through Friday evening, Sept. 14. Catered Rosh Hashana dinners and lunches will be served at the Hyatt following services. Reservations for the meals must be made in advance by calling (818) 991-0991.

Yom Kippur begins Friday evening Sept. 21 and concludes the following Saturday evening.

Educators and rabbinical students will conduct Junior Congregation for children, with a program of prayers, stories, songs, contests, prizes and refreshments.

Services are open to all Jews, and no tickets are required. Prayer books are provided.

The traditional services are blended with contemporary insights. The prayers and customs are explained during services.
