Lot split on agenda as council gets back in action after break

The Thousand Oaks City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tues., Sept. 11, the first meeting after the panel's summer break.

On the schedule for a public hearing is applicant Pasha Mashiri's appeal of the planning commission's denial of his proposal to divide a parcel of land (0.80 acres) at 718 N. Rancho Road into two lots. A two-story single family dwelling and a one-story home would be built on the land.

The public is invited to attend and speak at the council meetings, which are held at the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Civic Arts Plaza.
