Newbury Park

A male, 19, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance at 11:26 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 500 block of Via Andrea.

The evening of Aug. 24 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, a male, 32, and a female, 44, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A male, 27, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 8:55 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

A male, 22, was arrested on a charge of grand theft at 8:19 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court. The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Old Conejo Road.

Gang graffiti was applied to a wall on the north end of the Paseo Esmeralda cul-de-sac at 2:41 a.m. Aug. 23.

The driver's side rearview mirror of a vehicle was broken off the night of Aug. 22 in the 2400 block of Michael Drive.

Between 4:30 p.m. Aug. 22 and 7:30 the following morning, somebody spray painted graffiti on a block wall in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte.

The back door of a business was damaged after an attempted break-in Aug. 22 or 23 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.

A female, 21, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana in a vehicle the night of Aug. 23 on Havenside Avenue.

A male, 37, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 26 on charges of having sexual relations with and committing lewd acts with a minor in the 1300 block of Alessandro Drive.

A vehicle was burglarized at 6 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 800 block of Rancho Conejo Road.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/ or controlled substances at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 37, at 10:37 p.m. Aug. 23 on Calle Tulipan, south of Avenida de Los Arboles (also involving an allegation of hit-and-run at the southbound 23 Freeway offramp at Avenida de Los Arboles); a female, 43, at 11:43 p.m. Aug. 23 at T.O. Boulevard and Moorpark Road; and a male, 23, at 7:07 p.m. Aug. 26 at Conejo School Road and E. Hillcrest Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, the following people were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 31 at 9:50 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; a male, 38, at 10:52 a.m. Aug. 24 at a hospital in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (regarding an allegation of combative behavior in the 1300 block of Harmony Court); a male, 34, at 11:48 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 700 block of Wendy Drive; a female, 18, at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 26 at Moorpark Road and Rolling Oaks Drive; and a male, 37, at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 27 in the first block of W. Sidlee Street.

At the following times, dates and places, vehicles were burglarized: between July 1 and Aug. 19 on Pederson Road, west of the 23 Freeway; between 1:30 and 11 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 1000 block of Uppingham Drive (involving bogus credit charges made later in Chatsworth); between 12:50 and 2:11 p.m. Aug. 26 in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive; and the night of Aug. 26 in the 200 block of Whiteside Place.

A male, 21, was arrested on allegations of battery in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive at 12:51 Aug. 23. The incident allegedly involved spitting at a male, 34, and pushing another male, 26.

A carport was vandalized with spray paint the night of Aug. 22 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

A car was vandalized with spray paint on Aug. 22 or 23 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

About $650 worth of DVDs and four Sony Playstations were stolen from a video store in the 400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles between Aug. 20 and 22.

A male, 18, was cited and released for possession of a case of beer in a vehicle at 5:10 p.m. Aug. 22 on Gainsborough Road, east of Tuolumne Avenue.

A male, 18, was arrested on Aug. 24 regarding allegations of vandalism and street terrorism at 9:27 a.m. Aug. 23. The alleged incident(s) occurred in the 400 block of Wilbur Road in Thousand Oaks and the arrest was made in the 2700 block of Agoura Road in the Westlake portion of T.O. Another male, 18, was arrested in the 100 block of Galsworthy Street on Aug. 24 in conjunction with the same incident(s).

A male, 18, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 100 block of E. Hillcrest Drive for possession of a switchblade knife.

For allegedly making criminal threats in the 2100 block of Calle Lys the afternoon of Aug. 25, two 18-year-old males were arrested the evening of Aug. 25 in the 1900 block of Calle Salto.

After he was observed urinating in public, a male, 50, was arrested at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 in the first block of Moorpark Road.

For allegedly sticking several items in her purse and not paying for them, a female, 31, was arrested at a grocery store in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road at 8:25 p.m. Aug. 25.

Car windows were smashed with a cinder block between Aug. 22 and 24 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive.

Property was stolen from the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library between Aug. 16 and 23.

Somebody tried to break into a business Aug. 24 in the 400 block of Pensfield Place.

Spray-painted graffiti vandalism occurred on Aug. 23 or 24 in the 700 and 900 blocks of Warwick.

Sears reported a theft on Aug. 24.

Property was stolen in the 200 block of Odebolt Drive between Aug. 12 and 15.

A commercial burglary occurred at 12:49 a.m. Aug. 25 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The following subjects were cited and released for drinking alcoholic beverages in public: a male, 36, at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 22 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 30, at 5:45 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 500 block of Moorpark Road.

T.O./Westlake

A male, 30, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. Aug. 25 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/ or drugs at Townsgate Road and Westlake Boulevard.

Vandalism and theft occurred between Aug. 17 and 20 in the 4100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A theft was reported at another business in the same area during the same time period.

Vandalism occurred at Westlake High School the night of Aug. 22. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

A male, 19, was arrested and charged with a theft that occurred at the Mann Cinema Center at The Promenade at 12:53 p.m. Aug. 24.

A male, 36, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at 1:21 a.m. Aug. 26 at Agoura Road and Village Glen Avenue.

On charges of domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance, a male, 37, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.
