Another group of winners

THE PEAK OF PERFORMANCE- The Conejo Valley Apex boys' U16 soccer team celebrates their victory in a preliminary tournament in Encinitas, Calif., on Aug. 11 and 12. The Apex lost to the Burbank Fury in the finals the following weekend in Thousand Oaks after the teams played a scoreless game through a pair of five-minute overtimes.
