Aisles of MDA smiles at Vons

The Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon has become a tradition. Ventura County citizens can tune in to KEYT and KCAL on Sat. and Sun., Sept. 2 and 3 to watch the marathon show.

For the fourth year in a row, Vons stores have started fundraising early by teaming up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual Aisles of Smiles Tearpad program.

Through Sept. 8, Vons customers who participate in the program make a donation of $1 to $5 at Ventura County stores. The Aisles of Smiles program's purpose is to help children and adults affected by neuromuscular diseases.
