Come pick some Roma tomatoes

Pickyourown Roma tomatoes will be available over Labor Day weekend Sat., Sept. 1 and Sun., Sept. 2 at Underwood Family Farms, 3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark. The farm is open from 6 a.m. to noon.

Pickers should bring containers of equal size that won't hold more than 50 pounds. This eases the task of weighing the produce at checkout.

Already-picked Romas are 40 cents per pound and must be ordered and prepaid. Allow oneday notice for orders of 50 pounds or more.
