Exotic, classic car show to help worthy causes, also features Elks barbecue
 | | CARS, FOOD AND JAZZ- The Road to the Future Exotic and Classic Car Show on Sun., Sept. 2 will help fund the activities of Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning and Adopt-A-Future Inc. Supported by the Ferrari Club of America, the show will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parque de la Paz, behind the Tire Man store at 2468 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Tickets are $5. Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning and AdoptAFuture Inc. will host its premier fundraising event, "Road to the Future" Exotic and Classic Car Show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., Sept. 2 at Parque de la Paz, 100 N. Oakview Drive, behind Tire Man off Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.
The Elks Club will serve tri-tip sandwiches and barbecue chicken.
The Chris Banta Blues Express will play jazz and blues tunes.
Opportunity drawings will be held throughout the day for hundreds of dollars in prizes. Drawing tickets are $5.
The event is supported by the Ferrari Club of America.
Admission is $5, and children under five years of age are admitted free.
Fundraising efforts will support the services provided by Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning, a First 5funded program working to strengthen families and build school readiness for children up to age 5.
