Alpha Course coming to St. Patrick's

St. Patrick's Episcopal Church will offer the Alpha Course free of charge to the community with two identical sessions from 9:30 to 11 a.m. beginning Mon., Sept. 3 and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 6.

Classes meet in the church's Buena Vista room, One Church Road, Thousand Oaks, just north of Janss Road.

The morning session will have coffee and tea, and the evening session will include a free dinner at 6:30 p.m. Child care will be provided for the evening meetings.

Alpha is an 11-week program for adults that answers basic questions about Christianity regarding God, the Bible, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Christian life.

Each session contains a video talk, followed by open discussion. Participants are not required to make a commitment or join the church.
