T.O. musicians from '60s, '70s perform again

A group of Thousand Oaks musicians from the '60s and '70s, led by music teacher and professional musician Jim Rolfe, will perform on Sun., Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Conejo Creek North's Lakeside Pavilion, 1379 Janss Road, behind the library, in Thousand Oaks.

These musicians are original members from different bands that played in Thousand Oaks from the early '60s to the mid'70s. Some members are coming from far away and out of state.

The Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club will serve burgers (beef, chicken and veggie), hot dogs, chips and drinks.

All net proceeds go to the Kiwanis Charitable Foundation, which will distribute the funds to local high school band booster clubs.

To make a donation in advance, call Ted Driscoll at (805) 5295810 or Rolfe at (805) 5230816.
