Museum slates Appraisal Day

The Conejo Valley Art Museum will host Appraisal Day from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 15 at the Aviara Real Estate offices at 2555 Townsgate Road, Ste. 200, Westlake Village.

Experts from Bonhams & Butterfields will provide verbal auction estimates of the items. They will appraise fine art, furniture, decorative art, books, manuscripts, jewelry, prints and photographs.

There is a $10 charge for each item appraised ($5 for museum members) with the proceeds benefiting the Museum Building Fund. The appraisers will be available on a first come, first served basis.
