Labor Day concert is free

Conejo Recreation and Park District and the Thousand Oaks Acorn will present a free concert in the park on Labor Day, Mon., Sept. 3, at Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Ave. in T.O.

Maxine Nightingale and her band will perform "Right Back Where We Started From," "Lead Me On" and other songs from the '70s disco era. Aspen, an acoustic group, will open the concert. There's no admission fee and the concert begins at 5 p.m.

Parking is limited to surface streets around the park.
