County has committee opening

Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks is seeking a qualified citizen to serve on the Ventura County Commission for Women.

The commission advises the Board of Supervisors on issues relating to and affecting women and coordinates with federal, state and local groups to improve the quality of life for women.

The commission will also, if requested by the board, undertake studies or tasks depending on the resources provided.
