T.O. Big League party on hold

A party for the Thousand Oaks Big League All-Star team that was supposed to take place Tuesday afternoon at Gardens of the World was postponed.

According to Thousand Oaks Little League President John Short III, several team members had not returned in time from the Big League World Series in Easley, S.C.

A makeup date for the event has not been announced.

Thousand Oaks finished as runners-up in the United States bracket. South Carolina District 1 took the world title, defeating Puerto Rico on Sunday.
