Lake Sherwood dog owner isn't the victim

I was surprised that the Acorn gave Brad Wear's dispute with the Sherwood Homeowners Association as much print as it did.

I'd be even more surprised if any follow-up letters were printed by the Acorn as being worthy.

Your story is about one of three dogs that has to go. This almost qualifies as a tear-jerker.

I wonder if the real story is something else, perhaps about barking dogs.

Wear says that rules regarding pets aren't enforced except when a complaint is filed. I can only assume that a complaint was filed against the three German shepherds. The only reason I can think of for a complaint would be excessive barking by three German shepherds.

When I first read the story about the three dogs, my thought was that Wear was a victim of excessive harassment by the Sherwood HOA.

I'm now of the opinion that Wear isn't the victim at all. The true victim would be the person who filed a complaint against barking dogs. Gus Smyrnos Newbury Park
