Leash law being ignored in T.O.

I walk frequently at Peppertree Park, and almost every time there's a dog or two without a leash. Not a small dog, big ones.

Sometimes kids are playing in the park or walking around with their parents. I believe this to be very dangerous situation.

You also have to understand these people don't pick up after their dogs because they're running ahead of them.

I saw one person unleash all three of his big dogs and let them go right in front of me. He couldn't have cared less that I was there.

Also on three different occasions, I saw people letting their dogs drink out of the children's water fountain on the middle walkway.

I've had to stop my walk or change directions to keep away from these animals who I don't know, nor do they know me.

It can be frightening, and something needs to be done to these individuals who seem to think they're privileged and can do as they please.

Please, let us have our park back. Joyce Coté Newbury Park
