Newbury Park

Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol: a male, 40, at 6:05 p.m. July 19 at San Carlo and Hillcrest drives; a male, 38, at 4:19 a.m. July 22 at the 101 Freeway and Borchard Road; and a male, 21, at 10:21 p.m. July 6 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road

The following were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 41, at 12:05 a.m. July 15 in the 600 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard; a male, 47, at 11 p.m. July 21 at Hillcrest Drive and Ventu Park Road; and a female, 31, at 11:20 p.m. July 21 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 77, was cited and released at 5:15 p.m. July 16 in Camarillo for an alleged hit-and-run that occurred earlier in the 2700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 38, was arrested and charged with drinking an alcoholic beverage in public at 7:58 p.m. July 15 somewhere on Hillcrest Drive in Newbury Park.

On a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, a female, 18, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. July 16 in the 1300 block of Alessandro Court.

When she was arrested for two outstanding warrants at 10:06 a.m. July 16 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios, a female, 42, also possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

During a probation search at a motel in the 1500 block of Newbury Road at 6:12 p.m. July 17, a male, 37, was arrested and charged with possession of three glass smoking pipes.

A female, 54, allegedly battered a police officer when the deputy was investigating a disturbance at a motel in the 1500 block of Newbury Road at 3:17 p.m. July 17.

A known suspect allegedly battered a male, 37, the evening of May 22 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The incident was only recently reported.

Property was stolen from a business in the 1500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard on July 6.

Coins were stolen from a compressed air and water vending machine in the 800 block of S. Wendy Drive between July 3 and 10.

Two known suspects took a vehicle without the owner's permission in Newbury Park between July 5 and 12 and then stole license plates from another vehicle.

Two vehicles were burglarized (a loss of more than $800) the night of July 11 in the 3300 block of William Drive.

Two vehicles in the 3500 block of Spanish Gate Drive were burglarized the night of July 11. The loss was $1,565 in one of the incidents.

Something was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Jenny Drive the night of July 11.

A home in the 400 block of Knollwood Drive was burglarized between June 25 and July 13.

A shoplifter was caught at a grocery store on Reino Road the evening of July 14.

Something was stolen from a home (no signs of forced entry) between July 8 and 13 in the 200 block of Eagle View Lane.

A trailer was broken into and burglarized on July 14 or 15 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court. The loss was $1,084.

A trailer door in the 3700 block of Old Conejo Road was damaged in an apparent burglary attempt between July 14 and 16.

Known suspects entered a business in the 400 block of Ronel Court and stole money and caused $1,600 in property damage between 12:19 and 1 p.m. July 16.

Tables, chairs and lecterns were thrown from the second story of Newbury Park High School, causing damage as they struck the ground between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m. July 17.

A vehicle in the first block of Edgar Court was broken into and burglarized on July 18 or 19.

After he was evicted and warned if he returned to a motel in the 1500 block of Newbury Road that he would be arrested for trespassing, a male, 37, returned the following day and created a disturbance. He eventually rode away on his bicycle while intoxicated, and he was at 5:13 p.m. July 18 arrested in the 1200 block of Ventu Park Road.

After he was stopped for no seatbelt, a male, 21, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. July 23 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road for probable cause, making criminal threats.

Cited and released for falsely reporting a crime was a male, 26, at 9 a.m. July 20 at the Waverly Park Adult School.

A male, 19, was cited and released at 11:25 p.m. July 20 on a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at Wendy and Gerald drives.

After a male, 19, was observed masturbating in his parked car behind a condominium in the 1300 block of Ramona Drive, he was arrested at 9:16 a.m. July 23 for indecent exposure.

A male, 41, was arrested in Moorpark on July 24 regarding an allegation that he hit a victim's head and body with a baseball bat at 10:53 p.m. July 23 in the 600 block of American Oaks Drive.

An unlocked car was burglarized the night of July 19 in a Newbury Park parking lot.

Money was stolen form a purse at 5:30 p.m. July 20 in the 2300 block of Borchard.

A gang graffiti incident occurred in the 2300 block of Michael Drive the night of July 20.

Someone threatened a school employee and refused to leave a school campus when he was ordered to leave on July 21 in the 400 block of N. Reino Road.

An unlocked vehicle was burglarized on July 21 or 22 in the 2700 block of Denise Street.

Someone tried to enter a vehicle to commit burglary between 11 and 11:16 p.m. July 23 in the 400 block of Walter Avenue.

A building and trailer were broken into and burglarized between 8:30 and 9:20 p.m. July 24 in the 900 block of Rancho Dos Vientos Drive.

A spray-painted graffiti incident occurred between 1 and 1:46 a.m. July 25 at Calle Zafiro and Avenida Del Platino.

The loss was about $800 after a vehicle in the 1300 block of Newbury Road was broken into and burglarized the night of July 24.

Thousand Oaks

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 26, at 12:19 a.m. July 15 on the 101 Freeway east of Lynn Road; a male, 52, at 11:08 p.m. July 14 at Wendy Drive and Felton Avenue; a female, 25, at 9:39 p.m. July 20 at Moorpark Road and Rolling Oaks; a male, 40, at 11:47 p.m. July 20 at Lakes Drive and T.O. Boulevard; a male, 24, at 4:20 p.m. July 23 at Calle Castano and Calle Almendro; and a female, 46, at 4:56 p.m. July 25 at Hillcrest Drive and Paseo Grande.

The following were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 27, at 4:30 a.m. July 18 at Camino La Maida and Camino Del Zuro; a male, 36, at 7:25 p.m. July 17 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; a male, 34, and a female, 32, at 11:20 p.m. July 20 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road; and a male, 46, at 5:40 p.m. July 21 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Three individuals were cited and released in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive for drinking alcohol in public: a male, 46, at 7:58 p.m. July 19; and two males, 40 and 43, at 3:20 p.m. July 19.

At 9:13 p.m. July 14, a male, 45, was arrested in the first block of McAfee Court for inflicting corporal injury on a co-inhabitant.

A female, 31, was arrested for defrauding a cab driver at 3:36 a.m. July 16 when she couldn't pay her fare in the 600 block of Brossard Avenue.

For public intoxication, a male, 48, was at 6:50 p.m. July 13 arrested in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Known suspect(s) stole valuables from a dwelling in the 2700 block of Queensgarden Court between May 1 and June 14.

Two mailboxes were vandalized in the 500 block of E. Gainsborough Road the night of July 3. Two more were vandalized the same night in the 300 and 400 blocks of Bedford Place.

A cable TV utility box was damaged in the 2700 block of Sirius Street around July 3.

A 54-year-old male was battered in the 300 block of McCloud Avenue the afternoon of July 10.

A shoplifter was caught the afternoon of July 10 at a store in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A purse was stolen in the 2100 block of T.O. Boulevard between 3:20 and 3:40 p.m. July 11.

Something was stolen from the front of a home in the 1400 block of Oberlin the night of July 11.

A victim's purse was stolen at 4:10 p.m. July 12 as she was sitting outside The Oaks mall.

A burglar entered a home through the master bedroom window and stole personal property between 7:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. July 12 in the 3100 block of Cherrywood Drive.

The Ladera Elementary School playground was struck by vandal(s) who spray painted and damaged a basketball court wall and slide with gang graffiti on July 12 or 13.

Contractor(s) doing maintenance are suspects after property was stolen from a building in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Road between 2:30 and 3 p.m. July 5.

A purse was stolen from the trunk of an unlocked vehicle between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. July 13 in the 400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Shoplifters were caught at Macy's on July 13.

A shoplifter was caught at Circuit City the afternoon of July 14.

Several people ate at a restaurant in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road and left without paying at 9:15 p.m. July 15.

Redwood Middle School was targeted with spray-painted graffiti between July 14 and 16.

Two tires were damaged in the 700 block of Rancho Road the night of July 15.

Vandalism and theft occurred between July 12 and 16 in the 1900 block of Burleson Road.

Property was stolen from a vehicle between July 14 and 16 in the 400 block of Camino Dos Palos. There were no signs of forced entry.

The Fiore Playfields were targeted with spray-painted graffiti on July 16 or 17.

Tools were stolen from a truck (a loss of $350) after locks were cut between 5 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. July 16 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Unknown suspect(s) damaged a home and vehicle in the 1900 block of Rosewood Court between midnight and 6 a.m. July 18. Flour, marshmallow creme, Silly String, confetti and more were applied to the vehicle and the entrance and lawn of the home.

Windows were vandalized at Conejo Elementary School on July 17 or 18, causing more than $400 damage.

A male, 20, was arrested in Agoura Hills at 11:45 a.m. July 19 regarding allegations of unlawful sexual intercourse and giving harmful material to a minor in the 200 block of Royal Oaks Drive.

For possession of stolen property and for falsely identifying himself to a police officer, a male, 28, was arrested at 1:08 p.m. July 18 in the 500 block of T.O. Boulevard.

At 1:54 p.m. July 19, a male, 23, was cited and released for shoplifting in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Feb. 22 or 23 in the 3000 block of Adirondack Court. The incident was only recently reported.

Several locked storage sheds were targeted by burglar(s) on July 18 or 19 in the 1300 block of E. Janss Road.

Something was stolen on July 17 or 18 from a vehicle in the 2600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 38, was arrested in the 300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive at 9:44 p.m. July 7 after a deputy responded to a call about a fight.

Two vehicles were broken into and burglarized between midnight and 9:30 a.m. July 3 in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue.

During an investigation regarding an allegation of assault with a deadly weapon at 9:56 p.m. July 17, a female, 18, was arrested in the 500 block of Sorrento Circle.

At 12:30 p.m. July 18, regarding an earlier incident in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a male, 22, and a female, 20, were arrested on Lynn Road at the 101 Freeway for using stolen credit cards.

A male, 23, was arrested at East Valley Station at 6:16 p.m. July 3 after he allegedly used a victim's personal information to obtain and use a fraudulent credit card at several Ventura County locations.

After he allegedly used a stolen credit card in the first block of S. Rancho Road, a male, 22, was at noon July 8 arrested at East Valley Station.

A male, 40, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. July 20 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive for urinating in public.

A male, 34, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. July 21 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane for intentionally damaging someone's property.

A male, 64, was cited and released at 1:45 a.m. July 21 in the 700 block of Tuolumne Avenue regarding an alleged hit-and-run at Hendrix Avenue and Avon Circle.

At 3:24 p.m. July 21 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road, a male, 48, was arrested on a charge of public drunkenness.

At Hillcrest Drive and Erbes Road at 11:56 p.m. July 21, a male, 20, was arrested for public intoxication.

For possession of brass knuckles and a substance believed to be methamphetamine, a male, 29, was arrested at 11:57 p.m. July 21 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Olivo.

For passing a bogus check, a female, 24, was at 4:27 p.m. July 23 arrested in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road.

A male, 20, was arrested at 9:21 a.m. July 24 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road for stealing from his employer. He was also in possession of marijuana.

A male, 22, allegedly did the following: broke windows on a vehicle in the first block of W. Gainsborough, went to the 900 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores and threatened to kill the owner of the vehicle he had just vandalized, threw a large rock at the victim and tried to strike the victim with a piece of rebar. The suspect was arrested at 4:48 p.m. July 24 on Montgomery Road south of Avenida de Las Flores.

A female, 32, was arrested at 2:59 a.m. July 25 in the 1600 block of Capa de Oro Court after causing a disturbance at her ex-boyfriend's home while she was extremely intoxicated. She refused to go home and continued to create a disturbance even while police officers were present.

A vehicle was ransacked in the 3100 block of Woodgreen Court on June 14 or 15. On the same date at the same location, another vehicle was damaged and burglarized. The incidents were only recently reported.

The loss was $250 after items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle during daytime on June 27 in the first block of W. Olsen Road. The incident was only recently reported.

Hill Ranch Estates were targeted with yellow paint vandalism the night of July 16.

In the 1000 block of Avenida de Las Flores between 11:45 p.m. July 19 and 12:04 a.m. July 20, unknown suspects attacked a male, 34, with a wooden stick and their hands and feet, causing severe injuries to the victim's left wrist, head, back and right leg.

Vandal(s) broke a car window and threw eggs the night of July 19 in the 2300 block of Calle Alucema.

On July 19 or 20, a block wall was vandalized with graffiti at the 23 Freeway and the Avenida de Las Flores overpass.

Something was stolen on July 19 or 20 from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of E. Gainsborough Road.

A vehicle was vandalized between July 18 and 20 in the Pederson Road RV storage lot west of the 23 Freeway.

A known suspect allegedly tore down a fence, knocked a motorcycle over and battered a victim the evening of July 21 in the 100 block of N. Skyline Drive.

Unknown suspect(s) damaged a vehicle in the 2600 block of Capella Way on July 22 by pouring soap and Rice Krispies on it, and covering it with toilet paper.

Vandal(s) cut chains on swings and covered drink selection devices on two vending machines with a yellow crayon the night of July 22 at the park at Dover and Hendrix.

A known suspect stole merchandise from a store in the 2400 block of Willow Lane the morning of July 18.

Items were stolen from a business in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road on July 23 or 24.

A graffiti incident occurred between 9:55 and 10 p.m. July 24 on the south end of Sheffield Place.

A brick wall was vandalized with graffiti in the 100 block of Cunningham the night of July 14.

The loss was about $1,800 after a business was broken into and burglarized between July 6 and 8 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road.

Money was stolen from Mann Theatres in The Promenade at 2:25 p.m. July 13 when an unknown suspect used deception to steal.

Anheuser Busch was a victim of grand theft in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road between July 1 and 17.

A vehicle in the 2800 block of Appalachian Court was broken into and burglarized on July 18 or 19.

For passing a forged check in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road, a male, 24, was arrested on July 24.

An unlocked vehicle was burglarized the night of July 19 in the 800 block of Rimcrest Drive.

Three unlocked vehicles were ransacked between 1 and 6:30 a.m. July 20 in the 2200 block of Knollcrest Place.

Something was stolen from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Greenhollow Street between July 14 and 20.

Property belonging to two females, 20 and 24, was stolen the late evening of July 21 in the 2800 block of Agoura Road.

Four truck tires were punctured between July 21 and 23 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A laptop computer was stolen from an open garage between 10:30 and 11 a.m. July 24 in the 700 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.
