T.O. Library offers music for browsing

Thursday evenings in August, the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library at 1401 E. Janss Road will present the Courtyard Serenade.

The new program, sponsored by the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library, features a musical guest each week from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

•Aug. 2: Local musician Nancy Lee will play a variety of musical genres on her hammer dulcimer.

•Aug. 9: The Danny Janklow Trio, featuring recent Agoura High School graduate Danny Janklow, will perform cool jazz.

•Aug. 16: Local concert harpist Debora Lamarchina will play pop and classical selections.

•Aug. 23: Musicians from the New West Symphony will perform.

•Aug. 30: Local star of TV and movies, Norm will play a repertoire of selections on the accordion.
