Newbury Park

A female, 44, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 9:30 a.m. July 12 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

At 9:40 p.m. July 13 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda, a male, 32, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

During a vagrancy investigation, it was discovered that a male, 67, had a warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently taken into custody at 8:11 a.m. July 13 at Old Conejo Road and Wendy Drive.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 56, at 10:03 p.m. July 13 at Hampshire Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a female, 23, at 2:20 a.m. July 14 on Olsen Road at the northbound 23 Freeway offramp.

The following subjects, at the times, dates and places indicated, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: a female, 18, at 8:45 p.m. July 13 at Los Feliz Drive and Conejo School Road; a male, 20, at 8:42 p.m. July 13 in the 2200 block of Los Feliz Drive; and a female, 32, (also cited for possession of a loaded hypodermic syringe containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine) at 11:57 p.m. July 13 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

For alleged possession of hashish, a male, 22, was arrested at 10:43 p.m. June 21 at Wilbur and Moorpark Road.

In connection with an incident in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive, a male, 18, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. July 8 at a restaurant in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.

At 11:10 p.m. July 9 in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive, a male, 20, was arrested after he allegedly threatened to inflict great bodily injury on a rival documented gang member.

After an alleged second shoplifting visit that followed an earlier theft the same day, a female, 18, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. July 13 at Macy's.

The following were cited and released for drinking alcoholic beverages in public: a male, 23, at 2:20 p.m. July 12 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 51, at 6:15 p.m. July 14 in the first block of Rancho Road; and a male, 36, at 6 p.m. July 14 in the first block of Rancho Road.

Westlake/T.O.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 24, at 12:48 a.m. July 11 on Townsgate Road east of Westlake Boulevard; and a male, 23, at 5:40 p.m. July 14 in the 2900 block of Skelton Canyon Drive.

After he admitted he took property without permission at 10 a.m. June 25, a male, 27, was arrested at East Valley Station regarding an incident that had occurred in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
