Business challenges to be discussed over breakfast

The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce's Networking Breakfast of Champions will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., Aug. 3 at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Speaker Frank Maguire will discuss the challenges businesses face and how to rise above them.

Maguire is the first senior vice president of industrial relations for FedEx and an authority on corporate culture, leadership, customer service, productivity and communications.

Prepaid reservations are due by 2 p.m. Aug. 2. Chamber members pay $18, nonmembers $23. Payment after the prepay deadline and at the door is $27.

Registration begins at 6:45 a.m., with an early bird drawing at 7 a.m.
