Farmers' Market seeks vegetable recipes

Ventura County residents are invited to submit their favorite grilled vegetable recipes to the information booth at any of the Farmers' Market locations in Ventura County for a chance to win a $35 gift certificate.

A winner from each market will be selected. The Ventura markets are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the Pacific View Mall and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Santa Clara and Palm streets. The market in Thousand Oaks is from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at W. 403 Hillcrest Drive.

The deadline for entries is Sat., Aug. 25. Prizes will be awarded Sat., Sept. 1.
