Osher Institute to hold info meeting

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Cal State Channel Islands is holding its annual informational meeting for returning, new and prospective members from 2 to 4 p.m. Wed., Aug. 8 at Malibu Hall, CSUCI campus in Camarillo.

Campus parking is free, or park at the Camarillo train station on Lewis Road and take the Vista bus to campus.

The institute offers a wide range of courses for mature adults age 50 and up. The fall session is from Aug. 20 to Oct. 15.

Most courses meet on the university campus in Camarillo once a week for two hours for eight weeks, but some classes meet in Thousand Oaks.

Members may enroll in as many courses as they wish without the burden of grades, tests or preparing for a career. There is a fee for membership.
