OneSpirit to host drum circle at Underwood Farms

Native American Dr. Mike Willis and OneSpirit Center director Dr. Dennis Merritt Jones will present a Moonlight Meditation and Drumming circle from 7 to 10 p.m. Tues., July 24 at the Tierra Rejada/Underwood Family Farm, 3370 Sunset Valley Road in Moorpark.

The event will blend the traditions of the Native American sacred drumming ceremony with mindfulness practices and will include a release and renewal ceremony and ancient Native American stories, dancing and singing. The evening will end with a silent meditation.

Participants are welcome to bring their own drums.
