Classic comes alive at CLU
STRONG LOCAL CONNECTION- - ''King Lear'' starts next Fri., July 20 and will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through Aug. 5 at California Lutheran University. CLU theater arts professor Michael Arndt, who created the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival, is directing it. All shows are presented at 8 p.m. outdoors on the campus, 60 W. Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks. Lawn box seating is available for $50 or $65. Regular admission is $10, free for those under 18. The grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking and pre-show entertainment.
