Adoptive parents sought by bureau

Children's Bureau will offer an information meeting for adoptive parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., July 24 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Prospective caregivers are encouraged to attend.

The bureau provides training, certification, social worker support and funds to adoptive parents. Financial help is given to assist families in the care of the children.

The agency is a nonprofit organization working to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect.
