Landmark restaurant's namesake

A BYGONE ERA- - Lupe and Barbara Zuniga have an early connection to Thousand Oaks. Their mother, Martha Zuniga, opened the popular Mexican restaurant in 1947, naming it for Lupe. See page 18 for some of Lupe Zuniga's recollections about T.O. life prior to cityhood.
