Two students are called to the Torah

Mark Gero was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on June 23 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. He's a seventh-grader at Heschel West Middle School in Agoura and the son of Melanie and Bernard Gero of Westlake Village.

Courtney Pomush was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on June 23. She's the daughter of Bonnie and Steve Pomush of Oak Park and a seventh-grade student at Medea Creek Middle School.
