      A new drug-free program is available for children with AD/HD, OCD, dyslexia, tics and high-functioning autism at Brain Balance Achievement Center of Westlake Village, 650 Hampshire Road, Ste. 102. This is the first location in the western states to help families with this program.

      Audrey C. Ranieri of Thousand Oaks was named to the dean's list of the spring semester at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Ranieri is majoring in health science and maintained a grade point average of at least 3.25.

Graduates from local high schools receive appointments to U.S. military academies
      Young people from several area schools have been accepted to U.S. military academies. Nominees were interviewed by a board in December at an allday Saturday event and recommendations were made through the competitive nomination process.
