Summer sock hop at the senior center

The Goebel Senior Adult Center will host a summer sock hop dance from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Sat., June 30 at 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Oldies from the 1940s to the '60s will be the music of the evening, played by Coop's Deja Vu. Participants are invited to dress in '50s style to be eligible for "best dressed" for the sock hop.

Tickets are $7 each presale or $9 at the door. Price includes entertainment, complimentary photos and a deli meal.
