Casa Pacifica gets a new library

      During a recent history lesson on American heroes, teachers at Lang Ranch Elementary in Thousand Oaks wanted to impart more than textbook knowledge to their 140 second-graders. They wanted the students to learn by doing.

      Students at California Lutheran University were awarded Swenson Summer Fellowships, allowing them to complete research projects focusing on various topics in science and technology. The 11 students were selected by a committee comprised of CLU science faculty members.
